February 2004. Four weeks after transplant. Trying to get Amanda to walk around. This is very painful and tiring for her.

February 2004 –Amanda’s grandmother flew out from Carson City to be with Tracey and Amanda for her transplant, than four weeks after transplant her and Amanda’s grandfather brought her siblings for a rare visit.

February 2004 - Four weeks after transplant. Amanda was so happy to see her twin sister Jessica and her brother, Jacob on a short visit.

March 2004 – This is the first day Amanda was back at the Ronald McDonald House after being released from the hospital.

March 2004 – Amanda is glad to be back at the Ronald Mc Donald House. She is wearing a mask in this picture because she is so immunio suppressed. She has no immune system to fight off any kind of infection.
