June 2005, More prom pictures. Shawna, is a friend of Jessica (left) and Amanda (right). She is a patient at the hospital as well.

June 2005, this was taken the day before Amanda’s last hospitalization. Amanda was there for her regular clinic and she was not feeling well.

June 2005, Amanda in the hospital for severe migraines which progressed to complicated migraines. Unfortunately hospitalization is a constant so Amanda and her siblings, with sister, Jessica have learned to adapt to what is going on around them. In this case they are hanging out together to watch a movie.

June 2005. Still in the hospital…

June 2005. Amanda age 10. Waiting in front of Hospital with the other kids to go to Saint Dorothy’s camp. The camp is for kids age 8 to 18, with kidney, liver, or heart transplants. This is the first time Amanda has been well enough to attend in the last 3 years.
June 10th, Amanda coming home from camp. This is her beloved Sock Monkey, Amanda’s constant companion named Naj-wah which means “Joy” in Arabic.

June, 2005 Amanda showing off her wristband which was donated to sell for Amanda’s fund. The wristband says “Hope, Courage, Faith”.
